Days for Girls International is an organization that aids girls around the globe in retaining the education, safety and dignity that everyone deserves. This is achieved through the making of and distribution of sustainable feminine kits with partner non-profit organizations. On August 11th, the Fernie community will help do its part during a sewing workshop at the Christ Church.
Come down between 1pm and 9pm and spend a couple hours perfecting your sewing skills! Instruction, sewing machines and fabric will be supplied for making the kits. Donations of supplies are also welcomed and encouraged. The workshop is great for all ages and abilities, the more help the better. Take part in a great local event and help to make a difference to our global communities.
