Columbia Basin Trust commits $750,000 to help communities increase public art

For the past couple of years, Fernie residents have helped mitigate wildfire by reducing fuels in overgrown areas in and around their homes.

The funding is up to 50 per cent of the new employee’s wage over the first seven to 12 months, to a maximum of $25,000.
