The City of Fernie is evaluating how to manage short term rentals in our community. This appears to be a complex issue however it not, many communities have created solutions. Unfortunately the debate is being influenced by a few Fernie’s accommodators with a desire protect their business and limit others. With the help of a citizen task force, the City put together a survey to gather pubic insight and opinions on short term rentals. The survey will close on April 27th, 2017.
