The Fernie Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of Fernie’s favorite winter tradition—the 48th annual Griz Days celebrations, taking place from February 28 to March 2, 2025. This much-anticipated event promises a weekend of excitement, community spirit, and winter fun for residents and visitors alike.
The 2025 Griz Days theme, Vintage Formal, invites attendees to embrace classic fur, elegant jewelry, and old-school glamour. Whether dressing in timeless fashion or bringing a modern twist to vintage elegance, guests are encouraged to dress to impress and celebrate in style.
Additionally, limited-edition Griz Days sweatshirts are now available at the Fernie Visitor Centre and Ski Base. These exclusive items are expected to sell quickly—get yours before they’re gone!

Beyond the core events, Fernie will host a variety of satellite activities, including the ever-popular Raging Elk Dummy Downhill at Fernie Alpine Resort.
