In perfect symmetry the season changed. Fernie moved from mountain biking and hiking on golden laden trails laden with Larch needles to snow sliding. The transition was perfect this year, not a day was sacrificed to weather that creates down time or periods without stimulating outdoor recreation.
And the whole town of Fernie was taken by winter this weekend. People were sliding, building snowmen, riding snowmobiles, x-country skiing, snowboarding, skiing or just playing in the snow!
