Welcome to the Arts Station’s new Executive Director! Brian Dorscht starts on April 4, 2011
With over 20 years in the cultural not-for-profit sector, Brian brings a wealth of programming, grant/fundraising and
administrative expertise to the ED position.
As the Founder/Artistic Director and Executive Director of Calgary Young People’s Theatre Society for 13 years we are
excited to have these skills to add to existing programming. His business management abilities are extensive and include developing partnerships with business and the community, for support for projects and programs.
Brian says “It takes a team to run an organization, and team leadership is something I thoroughly enjoy. I have worked with diverse groups and individuals in my life’s work and have enjoyed the challenge”.
Brian comes with a Diploma in Fine and Performing Arts and a M.A., Arts Development.
