Elk Valley Hospice is looking for Volunteer Hospice Companions in all Elk Valley communities!

Are you thinking of volunteering in your community, or do you want to learn more about supporting people who are palliative and/or nearing end of life?

Elk Valley Hospice upcoming “Companioning the Dying” course will help you prepare for personal life events and to become a Volunteer Companion for Elk Valley Hospice and provide invaluable support to individuals, their families and caregivers on their end-of-life journey.

The next Companioning the Dying course is being held at the College of the Rockies, Fernie Campus Sat Sep 29th to Sun Oct 1st, 2023, cost $35 + GST. To register please call 250 423 4691 or email fernie@cotr.bc.ca.
