The Fernie Pride Society, in partnership with the Fernie Museum and the Chautauqua Series are pleased to present ʔaq̓am Chief Joe Pierre on Friday, November 6 at 7:00pm at the Seniors Drop-In Centre for a Rainbow Connections Storytelling Evening.

Creation stories are vital narratives of the beginning of the world as understood in a particular tradition and community. Creation stories are of central importance for the valuation of the world, for the orientation of humans in the universe, and for the basic patterns of life and culture. Come and spend an evening with us as we listen and learn about the Ktunaxa culture.

As always….no alcoholic beverages, no sharing food, mask use is encouraged, remain in your social bubble, and remain calm and kind.

Please follow all pandemic social setting guidelines while at this event.

This is a FREE event but donations at the door are appreciated. Minimum recommended donation of $5.00 with funds directed to ensuring the continuation of Fernie Pride Society inclusive initiatives in the Elk Valley.
