With summer in sight and the Fun Field Festival (FFF) fast approaching on June 27, 28, and 29, excitement is building for another unforgettable weekend of music, community, and creativity.

To kick off the countdown, organizers are inviting the community to a Pre-Party at The Pub on Sunday, May 18—one of Fernie’s favourite gathering spots. The Pub, along with Park Place Lodge, is a proud Golden Wheat Sponsor of FFF 2025, and their continued support of local arts and culture is deeply appreciated.

Live Music: TAILGATOR
Fernie’s own Tailgator, a local favourite, will headline the night with live music and a preview of what’s to come at this year’s festival. Rumour has it, they’ve got a few surprises in store for their festival set.

Trophy Art Competition Launch
The Friday night of FFF features a local jam band battle with musicians from Fernie, Jaffray, Sparwood, and Cranbrook. This year, organizers are calling on artists to help raise the stakes with a unique Trophy Art Competition. Artists are invited to create a one-of-a-kind trophy using only recycled materials—think blue bin treasures turned into glory.

All entries will be on display at the Pre-Party on May 18 and voted on by the public. The winning artist will receive a free weekend pass to FFF 2025, including camping. Full competition details and entry information will be released soon.

Merch Giveaways
Attendees will also get first access to a fresh lineup of FFF 2025 merchandise, created in collaboration with local artists and makers including Brina Schenk, Sidewalk Pharmacist, and Giv’er Shirtworks. A merch pack raffle featuring festival essentials will also be drawn during the event.

Food, Friends & Summer Vibes
The Pub will be showcasing new summer menu features during the Pre-Party, so festival fans can expect great food alongside the music, art, and community energy that define the Fernie Field Festival experience.

May 18 at The Pub is the place to be—a chance to celebrate local talent, support the arts, and get ready for the biggest weekend of the summer.
