The Fernie Alpine Ski Team will host the return of the FAST Gala, bringing together families, alumni, and community supporters for an evening dedicated to strengthening the club’s future.
The gala is FAST’s primary fundraising event, supporting critical capital investments that directly benefit athlete development. While the club will continue to host a smaller curling bonspiel in alternating years, the gala is where community support has the greatest impact.
The 2026 event has a fundraising goal of $50,000, with proceeds directed toward key capital needs including transportation improvements, timing equipment, and race gates—essential tools that support safe, competitive, and well-run alpine programs.
FAST is inviting local businesses and community members to contribute by donating items for the silent auction or sponsoring a special element of the evening, helping ensure the continued success of alpine ski racing in Fernie.
