Coffee with a Cop in Fernie will give residents an informal opportunity to meet with Elk Valley RCMP officers over coffee.

The event is open to community members who would like to connect with frontline police officers in a relaxed setting.

Elk Valley RCMP said the event is intended to bring residents and officers together for conversation over coffee, tea, or whatever people prefer to drink.

The Fernie event is part of an effort to create an approachable space for questions, conversation, and community connection.

Elk Valley RCMP officers say they look forward to seeing residents there.
