The Fernie Chautauqua and Fall Fair is an annual fall festival celebrating local art, music, heritage, and cuisine.

THURSDAY 13TH
5:30 – 8 PM Chinese Cultural Dinner
Chinese drumming on arrival and a live performance by members of the Calgary Chinese Music Development Association
Catered by Old Elevator Chinese Restaurant

7 – 10 PM Pride n’ Paint
Join Dan Whillans for a guided evening of self-expression and queer identity through art
Includes a beverage and basic canvas, brushes and paints, or bring your own art supplies
Selected works will be eligible for the ‘Bent on Art’ show at the Fernie Museum, Sep 27 – Oct 14
at The Valley Social, 562 2nd Ave

11 AM – 4 PM: Historic Downtown Fernie Chautauqua
Historical Walking Tours from the Fernie Museum, 491 2nd Ave, including:

1 PM – BC Mills Catalogue House Tour with John Aitken
3 PM – Fernie at War – Enemy Aliens Internment Tour

Live entertainment on the Chautauqua Stage from John Wort Hannam, Peter and the Wolves and Heather Blush and the Uppercuts from Noon

Antique Car Show on 5th Street
