Karl Subban is coming to Fernie for Booked! Fernie Writers’ Series featuring two free events, an all ages reading at 4 pm, and Booked! for adults at 7pm.
The Fernie Heritage Library will have books available for sale, with all proceeds going to the library.

Booked! event for adults:
Join a discussion of his novel, How We Did It, led by local author Angie Abdou. Register on Eventbrite to reserve your seat. Limited number of tickets available at the door.

Karl Subban is a bestselling author, speaker, and award-winning educator. His third book, Raise Your Roof, is scheduled for release in the Spring of 2025.
Born in Jamaica Subban immigrated to Sudbury, Ontario, where he raised his family and built a career in the Greater Toronto Area. As the widely recognized patriarch of the Subban clan, Karl, along with his wife, Maria, have nurtured five well accomplished children, including NHL star, P.K. Subban.
Karl is a celebrated retired school principal and a skilled Maxwell Leadership certified coach, trainer, and DISC Consultant. His commitment to personal and professional expansions saw him earn an honorary Doctor of Education Degree from Lakehead University in 2022. Subban is also a director of the Greater Toronto Hockey League and the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation.
