The RDEK Electoral Area A Open House for the Accessory Dwelling Units planning process.

This planning process is an opportunity to define Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) types, sizes, location, servicing, and maximum numbers on properties within the RDEK zoning bylaws, and public engagement is a critical part of the process.

Your input is very important and will help shape ADUs in your community into the future. Please plan on attending an open house as community engagement and participation is the foundation of a successful planning process.

In addition to the engagement sessions, there will be an online survey opening early next week at engage.rdek.bc.ca/housing that will run through December 1, 2025. A paper or digital copy of the survey can also be sent to you upon request and we will provide an update once the survey is open.
