I realize that Business postings can be whatever from the public forum and Bla Bla Bla, But If I were you I’d look into “Statford” or “Pinnacle Ridge” condos.
Afordable and isolated, yet central to the hill and town.
I’ve heard that they run btwn $800-$1000 per mo. I’ve been inside both and in my opinion, they are worth every penny.

I think you are better off in either of the two than you would be renting an apartment or house, in town.

As for the Sticky Post – Look up Freedom of expression and individual rights and freedoms in our constitution.
    These admins, want to tell us what is and isn’t advertising. Well here’s somethin right out of the real world;
    One word……

Good luck in your search Mark.
    Hope you found something reasonable.

I’m already over capacity, but I charge 300 per mo. includes utilities (WD, FS, Net, Heat and Hydro. My roomates pay for cable and phone if they need them, but then again I’m a generous type. Not out to make a Morgage Payment and Profit, like some of the property owners. around here.

You’d have to include free phone, cable, electricity, gas and pot for me to live there.

Nothing against the present company, but with four people already taking vest there, the question is:
Do you want to be able to poop out gold?

Ahha! Another greedy person in the real estate market. Imagine that.
I’t’s like dishonesty in the government. We’ve all just become numb to the apparent.

Shop around all you newcomers, and don’t be afraid to haggle.

I always wondered if Tony the Tiger ever thought about making a quick snack out of that Trix Rabbit.

Best of luck with a stable roomate.
$250 per mo. is very reasonable.

Why not bring your rent down to a reasonable rate.
Sure. suck the cash out of the visitors why don’t you.
That’s fiveteen hun, according to my calc for rent and damage.

I pay One hundred and twenty dollars a month. This includes all utilities, WD FS. And I have a ten bedroom house. JK

A grand a month doesn’t sound reasonable to me.
I hope your tenants make you sharpen your pencil you greedy people.

I think tourist no’s are down again this year.
For a thou. per mo. I hope your property is empty till 2020. By that time it may be a good deal.

I mean not to offend. Just giving my opinion.

Smitty’s is right next to the Super Eight and the atmoshere is great for a group the size of yours.
I would gather at the base of the mountain. Have a beer or two at Gabriellas (Tell Gabbriella Nate sent ya).
    Then come into town.
I’m sure there will not be a shortage of live music in town, or on the hill. The Mountain Pantry store on the hill (directly below Gabriellas) should have postings as for local entertainment.
I’m sure us members will keep you posted on anything you might not want to miss.
PS. No trip to Fernie is complete without a couple hundred dollar binge at the chocolate factory on Second ave when you get time.
If anyone has a cold or sinus troubles, skip the Buckleys. Go to Jamochas on 7thave and 8th street and ask for some Mulagatawny. If anyone has found a delicous cure for the common cold it is these guys.

The Snow is currently falling lightly. Hope everyone has a safe and prosperous New Year.

(PS. Shuttle services run from the hill to town on a regular basis, but local cabs also can accomidate for groups the size of yours.) I wouln’t want anyone to think that I have just given people advice to drink and drive Yknow.

There are many restaraunts and bars in Fernie.
But lets not create a hectic travel route for you. Lets start where you’ll be getting together at the base of the hill.
Of seven friends, how thirsty are we?
Do we want wine? beer? Gin? Scotch?
I can personally recommend Lizard Creek Lodge if you are not too concerned with budget.

    Do yous like Sushi?

I would hope Gabriellas is open. (On the hill. No complaints) if your up for Italian.

Kelseys is right on the hill (More of a Western Cuisine). There is also a restaraunt called Woodys up there.

For fivety bucks (BYOB) I’ll turn on some music on my front porch and we can blast fireworks at the ski hill. No Idea what the hill has planned. Probably a whole bunch of events. Hope someone replies to you.
