Travelling time from Banff to Fernie varies depending on which route you take…there is an Eastern route (via Hwy #1 East to Hwy#2 South) and that takes approximately 4.5 hrs. The Western Route (Hwy #1 West to #93 South) takes longer but is more scenic, you go through both Banff and Yoho parks. This one is about 5.5 hrs or so, of course provided you have good weather.
From Fernie to Glacier Nt’l Park, you are looking at approximately 2.5 hrs of driving time going along Hwy #3 (Crowsnest Highway) then south at Pincher Creek to Waterton (entrance to the park).
Hope this helps with the travel plans!
