room wanted for winter season

My girlfriend and I are looking for a room to rent for the coming winter season in Fernie. We won’t be arriving in Fernie until late October , early November.
We are a easygoing couple who are 23 and 26. I’m from Italy and my girlfriend is from Switzerland (currently fruit picking in Kelowna), non smoking, quiet, fun and friendly we used to live and share appartament with other people.
