Room Wanted – Fernie BC

My girlfriend and I are looking for a room to rent for the coming winter season in Fernie. We won’t be arriving in Fernie until late Oct, early Nov but are willing to start paying rent earlier.

We are a relaxed chilled out couple who are 25 and 26. We’re from New Zealand (currently living in Calgary), non smoking, quiet, fun and friendly.

It doesn’t matter if the room is furnished or not.

If you have anything that might be suitable please let us know.

A friend and I are looking at a 3 bedroom house in the annex (good location), close enough to everything…they are asking 950 plus utilities, so roughly 1100 a month. We figure we would take the house and then fill in the spare room while we were still in manitoba, planning to move out likely by the end of september, but we are flexible. If you guys take the master bedroom we could work out something to satisfy everyone’s needs! Both her and I are good friendly and fun people, easy to live with!

I have not yet advertised the room for rent, but I will have a great room for rent (available in October) in the 1300sq ft top floor of a house in the airport area. All windows facing the mountains with views of the ski hill, mt fernie, three sisters… The room and place is completely furnished (the room has a queen sized $2000 mattress) with great furniture. The home owners are laid back, active and quiet, but fun, and live on the main level. The rent would include everything – basic utilities, upgraded cable, wireless internet and home phone (unlimited long distance in canada and us). Looking for fun, but considerate and clean roomate(s) that are don’t bring the parties back from the pub. Would only be sharing with myself and the resident fur child (my cat), as a couple the rent would be $700 total. Great deal, with great company, and nice furnishings throughout.
