We’re two women (22 and 23) moving to Vancouver for the summer now that the snowboarding season has ended in Fernie. We have a couple of suitcases each, a small tv (13 inch) and 3 medium sized plastic boxes to carry with us. We don’t have any furniture/mattresses, pets, etc. We are both non-smokers. We would have gladly rented a small Van from U-Haul, but it turns out that taking a vehicle one way costs around $500, and we just can’t afford that making $8 per hour. We’d obviously be more than happy to split the cost of gas, and then some, seeing as we have our belongings with us.
