Mountain Biking in the Kootenays, Fernie or Area?

      We are coming to the Kootenays in August and would like to know which would be the best spot to rent bikes and go Mtn. Biking?  We will be in Fernie for 4 days, then heading to Nelson and Rossland.   Is there a spot better than others and which company should we rent bikes from?  It would be for Mom and 12 year old.  Would love to bike in the mountains where there is lots of wildflowers, pastures/meadows.

      Fernie has the friendlies terrain for mom and a 12 year old.  All bike shops rent bikes, best to reserve prior to arriving to secure sizing.  Enjoy!

      Thank you so much.  I have another question if that is okay?  After visiting Fernie for 5 days we want to see other parts of the Kootenays and I wanted to get some info on which is the best itinerary to see Nelson and Rossland,but also go to Lussier Hot Springs.   Which is the best route to go and follow to be able to see all 3 places in a few days?
