I found a lost dog when riding up hyperventilation today (Nov 17). It was at the very top of the hill at the turn off to castle rocks. He or she was lanky and looked like a cross between a German Shepherd or greyhound and possibly something like a husky. It had a narrow choker chain on, a red tag possibly rabies tag and another what looked to be part of a trainer apparatus at the base of it’s jaw. I manged to coax it down the other side of hyper to where Hyper meets roots extension but as he or she was scared and weary wouldn’t come any further. I couldn’t get close enough to read the tags.
