Looking for a cool roommate (or a couple) to share modest 3-bedroom walk-out flat in one of Fernie’s finest properties. Incredible views (unobstructed ski hill & lizard range view), great amenities, no neighbors (endless forest), quality furnishings & artwork, and great company.
Would encourage "out-of-towners" who are mostly here on weekends & wish to enjoy an easy-going environment and awesome living space.
Must be quiet & extremely tidy as this is also a nightly/weekly rental property (completely separate area). Must also love pets as we have a large mature Husky (purebread, no maintenance at all!) and a prowling black-cat mouse-trap standing guard.
Rent includes all utilities (wireless high speed internet, fax/copier, cable TV/DVD, laundry, unltd north-america long-distance, radiant & electric heat, and well-furnished cozy bedroom with large window & private entrance).
Must have car (pref 4×4) as our forested property lies 2.7KM from the Brickhouse Restrnt: walking in the snow that’s a half-hour at times and on a nice clear day it’s about 15 minutes walk down Cokato Rd. by the Aquatic Center.
This fully equipped pad must be kept very clean to help everyone cope with shared living quarters and random busy change-over days.
Some work also available (not sure how much exactly) during the winter months. Preferably looking for long-term roommate(s) and non-partying couple/person to share a relaxed home life.
Sharing with two guys; I work from home (lots) and love to cook (shared food and chores) and my flatmate is very quiet and studious. TV is rarely on and shouldn’t be a focus of daily life.
Sorry no other pets allowed really as it would be too busy here with guests & pets & all. Might consider something scaly
      Email to.the.edge.of.the.world@gmail.com for info
We’re not keen on renting to anyone we haven’t yet met so send an email and let’s meet up and talk. Need a good match to be able to work well from home…
