It has snowed all day today, that’s good enough for me. As for the forecast, since when has that ever been right? I’m just glad it’s not -22 any more!

When I got off work, I basically needed a chisel to get into my car because it was coated with a layer of ice thanks to the snow that has turned into freezing rain. Although I also must say, it beats -20 and lower

I know it will always snow in Fenrie BUT are we going to get the HUGE dumps like we used to? as I look outside right now, I see that the snow that I saw a few days ago is now nothing more than crust. PLEASE some one tell me I am wrong and that it is going to snow 2 ft a day from now until Feb? Please?[/quote:2e85hlk9]
That’s like 80 feet! Sounds like alot of shovelling. I would be fine with just a foot a day.

Freezing rain is the worst weather event that could have happened. I’d rather the snow completely melted away at least then we could start with a fresh snow pack. At least when it’s freezing out you can dress for the weather and still have a good time. Now everytime you head out into the backcountry you have no real idea whats going to happen. Want to lay bets that this ice layer will not be forgotten.

Has anyone noticed that when the hill was called snow valley we could always count on seeing lots of snow, but now that it’s Alpine resorts, You see alot more trees. Coinsidence (spell check on the fritz), Maybe not.
I saw a news report last week that says global warming is placeing the polar bears closer to the extinction mark than the endangered. Maybe we really need another golf course.
But in a world where fire fighters, fight fires and crime fighters, fight crime, what the heck do freedom fighters fight?
I’m sad to report that according to the environmental stats this year the Griz count is down yet the sasquach count is up. Maybe bigfoot ate our beloved snow bringer. Anyone think about that?
Maybe their should be a local conspiracy corner on this site. I’d be a yocal in no time.
