      Working for an organization that suppiles equipment, parts and service to the construction, forestry, mining industries and utility product suppliers

      The Ideal Candidate:
      As an HR Advisor you will be a key member of the HR team
      As a valued business partner, you will work closely with the management team, to coach and advise managers and staff on a variety of human resources issues.
      This role reports to the Operations manager located in Elkford.

      Job Description:
      Support the onboarding of new hires and first day activities
      HR and Employee file management as per PIPA
      Disability management coordination (STD, LTD, WCB)
      Probation period tracking, apprenticeship coordination and registration activities
      Assist employees, supervisors and managers on benefits, HR policies and procedures Coordinates performance reviews with supervisors and managers and performance management coordination

      Responsibilities:
      Coordinates performance reviews with supervisors and managers and paper management coordination
      Assists with recruitment process as required
      Assists with training needs and opportunities
      Assist with day to day employee/labour relations problems by investigating and working in collaboration to find suitable solutions
      Interprets the collective agreement and other employment related documentation Work force analysis including turnover, hires and retention documentation
      Exit interviews
      Be involved in health in branch health and safety matters and understands in order to assist employees supervisors and management

      Requirements:
      Typical requires succesful completion of related post secondary education at the degree level,as well as 2-3 years of experience as an HR resources generalist with a desire to develop into a professional.
      CHRP designation is preferred.
      Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication skills
      Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
      Advanced knowledge of microsoft office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
      Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
      Knowledge of labour relations, recruiting, training and safety is a definite asset
