HOSPICE ADMINISTRATOR contract position opportunity
The Elk Valley (Fernie & Area) Hospice is a local not for profit organisation providing hospice care and support to the people of the Elk Valley and surrounding areas.
The Hospice is seeking an experienced fundraiser and marketing person to join a dedicated team of volunteers. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the expansion of fundraising activities and our Hospice as a whole. You will lead, develop and implement the Fundraising, Marketing and Communication Strategies, during a period of change, to raise funds and awareness of Hospice’s work; manage fundraising information and data; develop fundraising and marketing tools and resources; and build trusted relationships with donors and supporters. Your role will be crucial to the long-term development and sustainability of the Hospice.
You will have proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, marketing, and project management skills. With excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently under your own initiative, you will also work well as a team player. You will have excellent written, presentational and IT skills with a good working knowledge of all social media tools. We are also looking for someone with exceptional inter personal skills and the ability to build and manage a range of effective working relationships.

This is a 3 month contract position with a 3 month renewable
$20.00 per hour – 15 hours per week.
