Hitchin’ a ride!

When I was last in Fernie, I had gotten to Cranbrook, and some friends came over to give me a ride to Fernie.

In October, I’ll be in Vancouver, and want to get to Fernie.
What do you guys suggest as being the best way to travel that distance?

A Greyhound bus will take 17 hours, and the website won’t even tell me how much that’ll cost (!), and I can’t get a train. Well, not direct anyway…

What’s the best way to do it?
I haven’t got a car at my disposal…

Pacific Coastal Airlines fly to and from Vancouver at a one way price of $109 if you book 4 days in advance. Bus it fron Cranbrook or bag your friends again for a lift again.
