Anyone know, or know where to go, to find what chemical treatment is on fernie tap water? Specifically, is chloramine used, or just chlorine?

It must be chlorine either as a liquid or hypochlorite. Chloramines are fromed when chlorine reacts with ammonia in the water. Essentially, the chlorine has to be strong enough to oxidize the ammonia, reach the breakpoint and leave a free chlorine residual thus ensuring proper disinfection.
