fernie nordic centre volunteer call

Get our your work gloves and come join the Fernie Nordic Society as we prep the Elk Valley Nordic Centre for another great winter.

Meet at the overflow parking lot at Mt Fernie Province Park on Saturday, November 15th at 1pm. Refreshments will be provided!

There will be tasks ranging from clipping overhanging branches, installing signage & silt/snow fencing, marking trails and prepping the parking lot for winter plowing. Tasks may change depending on weather. Come join in this fun social gathering. It’s a great way to get pumped for the season ahead!

Please bring gloves, clippers, or any other tools that would be helpful in some basic trail maintenance. Don’t forget to dress warmly!
