In case you were unaware, the Fernie Mountain BIke Club is currently building a Mountain Bike Skills Park behind the Fernie Aquatic Center, for all ages and abilities to use as Fernie’s newest community asset.
The next four days are the scheduled Park Build days, with the Community Build Day being scheduled for this coming Saturday.
Our professional park builder Jay Hoots has just arrived in town tonight.
We (FMBC) had lined up machinery for him to use and at the last minute it has fallen through. So at this point we have NO excavator to use. If you or anybody you know have knowledge of an excavator available tomorrow, we are not looking for free work, we would like to pay.
