I guess if you were born and raised in Fernie you are probably immuned, but I know people who got sick drinking the water from the tap. Everytime I went to the restaurant during a boiling water advisory they would serve us tap water! But I don’t blame it on the restaurant, I think it’s the city that don’t take the appropriate mesures to warn the population. An ad on The Drive and some postings at the grocery store is not enough. What if I don’t listen to the radio or I don’t go to the grocery store for 3 days? Where I used to live (population 12000) the city would go door to door and hang a notice on you door nob or mail a one to every mailbox. Why can’t Fernie do the same?

We go get our water at the spring and use the same jugs everytime.
