Hey there my girlfriend and I are having a baby at the end of october and we are looking for a place for two in fernie. Currently we live in cranbrook and I commute to elkford and am gone for four days for work.
I’m a loss prevention officer at Line Creek so rent will never be a problem and we would much rather be able to have it where I could be home every day after work so I can come home to see the little one once she/he is born and so I won’t have to commute through the rock cuts in the winter.
We will eventually want to actually buy a house in fernie but for now we are just looking for a rental, preferably a 2 bedroom house or condo.
If anyone has any leads please let me know, we are hoping to move by mid november or earlier.
