      We are looking for a vehicle to see us through the season in Fernie. Ideally a 4 x 4, must have all weather tyres. Willing to pay up to $2500 if we like it.

      Colin,
      I think I have just the thing for you – a 1993 VW Golf CL, colour red with limited edition 4X4 function (never really took off mainstream, but works a treat). Complete with blown cylinder head gasket and 2 cylinder (currently) engine, it runs smoothly and handles well in all conditions. It also has an eject seat function which may be of use to you.
      Will sell for $1000 cash in hand.

      That sounds like an interesting proposition. If the ejector seat could be easily controlled from the dashboard i would be sold on the idea. Is it any good for sleepin in in the middle of london?

      The eject button is conveniently located on the dash just below the stereo. It is a good size for a nights’ sleep if required, and also has a handy cocktail kit in the back.
      Do we have a deal then?
