Hi, I’m goving to Fernie in the winter, but I’m planning goving to different skiresorts, and therefor I would like a car.
Does anyone know where I may by a cheap car, may good websites? -

I have a 1986 Mercury Sable for $900. Not the nicest looking car, but mechanically sound. Call 423-8797 ask for Gavin.

I know someone that is passing through fernie in a month with a nice 4 door 1992 subaru. Fully safe/certified. They want to sell it for $1800. I was thinking of buying it myself, but I ended up fixing my current car. Let me know if you are interested.

I have a 1991 Hyundai excel for sale. It has four new winter tires, new front springs and struts yet to be installed, new brake pads yet to be installed, recent tune up, new timing belt and water pump (installed).
The car is a white, 4 dr, automatic, hatchback. It has a little service rust but still looks presentable. It gets 40mpg hwy. The only reason were selling is the insurance expired Oct 26th, and we have three other vehicles. Time to down size.
I am asking $800.00 but will take any serious offer just to get it off the front lawn. Ph: 423-5048 or txt: 250-433-1247
Ps: Did I mention four new speakers installed for the panasonic cd player I put in for the wife, (with remote).

I’m in Europe now and not goving to Fernie until the 3rd January or something. So unless you wil wait that long before you sell it, I’m very much interested! But I see that that will probably wont work..
How much is it for a reasonabel insurance in Canada? Is there a lot of taxes on cars in Canada – such as..?

I’m 24 and paying $135 CAD per month. I think I started out paying $230 per month 5 years ago. There are a few things that determine how much the insurance company will rip you off. The type of car, how long you have been driving and your insurance history.
