Hi,
I am trying to find a home/buyer for 2 horses in town-they are owned by an older fellow who is no longer able to keep them. They need to go by mid september or else they are at the end of their road. They are half sisters, 15 and 17 and extremely friendly. In their youth these mares were trail horses but have been out to pasture for the past 10 years. They are in good health, just a little overweight. The owner is asking $1500 for the pair, but I am pretty convinced he will take lower, and I am possibly able to help out a suitable buyer such as helping in their care. At the very least, I would like to find an affordable place to board these horses until a home can be found.
