I would however ask that you refrain from giving the implication that it happened because you were in Fernie. It didn’t happen because you were in Fernie, it happened because someone or some people wanted to kick your ass. I understand your urge to justify what happened to you and to find a source to put the blame. The people that did it are to blame. They did it because they enjoy doing it. They chose you either because you did something to offend them or you just plain and simple were in the wrong place at the wrong time. If you would like something done about it, it is up to you. The police aren’t going to magically solve all your problems for you, they can however help you bring your attackers to justice. So instead of complaining about the fact that these people were in Fernie, help out the rest of us and use your experience to make this place a little bit safer.
