hi HEIDIC, do you still have a home for rent, I would rent one unfurnished for possibly as much as 2-3 years. My husband and I have been in Fernie for 5 years now and have to move from the house we have been in for 3 years now as the owners are moving back. We have 2 mature dogs that will not do any damage to the house.
