While I would agree the trans rockies event could do no harm, I have to question you thinking Fernie will become a ghost town. I’m from a town where the local economy has fallen on hard times , the young people are forced to move because there are no jobs and the remaining population is aging . Buisinesses close forever and the only school is now closing, real estate prices are going down. Does this sound like Fernie? I have one more question, what are “real people” and how are you more real than anyone else?
