The Fernie Chamber has shared the recording of Tuesday night’s Fernie Candidates Forum that took place at the Fernie Community Centre.
Recorded on Tuesday 4 October 2022, the video recording features 13 of the 14 candidates running for council, and both mayor candidates. Watch and make your vote count!
The Fernie Chamber of Commerce released its election platform ahead of the municipal election outlining what it sees as priorities for the next mayor and council of the City of Fernie.
Their platform was put together by the Fernie Chamber’s Advocacy Committee through engagement with members over the spring and summer. The platform was also informed by the Fernie Business Retention & Expansion Survey and Report, which was completed by 245 businesses that operate in Fernie. See the final document here.
