Fernie Alpine Resort Downhill Development Series – Tuesdays, June 24 – August 26, 2025

Fernie Alpine Resort shifts its popular downhill development series to Tuesday evenings this year, welcoming riders to relaxed, timed runs on beginner and intermediate trails. With no podium pressure, riders can focus purely on improving their times and skills. Each week offers new trails, weekly prizes, themed nights, and post-race socializing at Legends Mountain Eatery. Registration is online only and limited, so riders are encouraged to sign up early and regularly to maximize their fun—and their chances at the grand prize draw.

Fernie Alpine Resort Adult Downhill Clinics – Select dates from July 12 – August 9, 2025
Fernie Alpine Resort’s adult downhill clinics provide targeted coaching sessions for riders aged 17 and over, focusing on specific skill areas such as berms, jumps, line choices, and technical terrain. Expert coaches lead small groups of no more than seven participants per session, ensuring personalized instruction. Clinics include lift tickets and run from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, with discounted rental equipment available.

Fernie Alpine Resort Kids & Youth Freeride Camps – July and August 2025
Tailored for young riders aged 8–16, Fernie’s Freeride Camps offer specialized two-day programs designed to boost skills and riding confidence. Professional coaches guide campers through the resort’s varied terrain, emphasizing safe and progressive riding techniques. Each session runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm and includes instruction, lift tickets, and access to discounted rental bikes and gear.

SheShreds Legacy – Lakeside, Montana July 14–17, 2025
The SheShreds Legacy freeride event, hosted at Legacy Bike Park, offers a unique experience tailored specifically for women riders. This community-oriented gathering fosters skill progression, boosts rider confidence, and celebrates female athletes in mountain biking. Participants will enjoy three full days of shuttled freeride sessions, access to mulch jumps and airbags, camping, meals, and riding alongside pro female riders. The event culminates in a lively public jump jam on Jammer Lane with music, food, and an exciting festival atmosphere.
