The City of Fernie is introducing the Fernie Rec Club and Fernie Junior Rec Club starting in January 2024.
The City will be piloting this new and free After School Rec Programming, thanks to grant funding from Columbia Basin Trust.
Fernie Rec Club (7-12 years)
The Fernie Rec Club is focused on engaging youth 7-12 years of age in a variety of activities that promote physical activity, creativity, and personal health and wellness in a safe and inclusive environment. Activities offered include swimming, outdoor play, games, crafts, drama, and sports.
Fernie Junior Rec Club (4-6 years)
The Fernie Junior Rec Club is designed for youth 4-6 years of age and focuses on active play, recreation, and friendship in a safe and inclusive environment. Activities offered include games, crafts, and outdoor play.
Registration:
Spots are limited and participants must be registered each day to attend. Registration opens 4 weeks in advance online here. All participants will be provided with a healthy and nutritious snack.
