Would you like to be introduced to a whole new way of experiencing skiing or snowboarding at Fernie Alpine Resort? Are you looking for a fulfilling way to share your passion of skiing or snowboarding? Interested in rekindling your love for snow sports? Want to be in one of the best environments you could ever wish to be in for the winter season?

Let us introduce you to FIRE (Fernie Inspire the Race to Empower)/ Fernie Adaptive Snow Program.
What is FIRE you might be wondering? FIRE is an adaptive skiing program focused on seeing the ability. FIRE provides individuals with disabilities the freedom to ski/snowboard in Fernie.

FIRE would like to share with you an amazing opportunity to get involved in this program! They are looking for experienced skiers and snowboarders who are willing to become voluntary adaptive instructors.

The program runs from January to April, with options for mid-week lessons or the regular Sunday lessons. Certification courses will be provided early January (course dates TBA…)!

So… Are you interested? If so, please get in touch with FIRE to find out how you can get involved. Contact Grace: fernieadaptive@gmail.com. If you want even more information, visit their website: fernieadaptiveski.ca
