Despite two solid days of rain in the valley the upper elevation has a deep snowpack! Today I went to an uncrowded landscape to play in over a meter of light and untracked snow. Was it Island Lake Catskiing? No, not today however it would be awesome!
I went snowmobiling with four friends into a mountain drainage that had no tracks or other people. We carved and ripped waist deep powder between 6000 to 7000 feet all day, it was epic!
