This year’s theme, Vintage Formal, encourages attendees to don their finest retro attire and immerse themselves in the festivities.

Festival Highlights:
Griz Days Parade: Kicking off on Friday evening, the parade will illuminate 2nd Ave with vibrant floats and performances, setting the festive tone for the weekend.

Extreme Griz Competition: Witness contestants showcase their strength and endurance in challenges such as the Pancake Eating Contest, Obstacle Course, Axe Throwing, Keg Toss, and the Vintage Truck Pull. Cheer them on as they vie for the coveted Extreme Griz title!

Raging Elk Dummy Downhill: On Sunday, head to Fernie Alpine Resort to watch creative “dummies” on skis launch off a massive jump in a hilarious and entertaining spectacle.

Live Music and Entertainment: Enjoy performances from local bands including Hark Raving Sirens, Peach Panic, and Mount Rushka. Don’t miss the Vintage Formal Electric Swing Party and DJ sets that will keep you dancing all night.

Family-Friendly Activities: From skating with the Griz at Fernie Memorial Arena to the Junior Griz Training Grounds and the Griz Kids headquarters, there’s fun for all ages throughout the weekend.
