Community organizations in Fernie and the surrounding area are invited to apply for Columbia Basin Trust’s (CBT) Resident Directed Grants (REDI), which are now open and accepting applications until 4:00 PM on Monday, February 10, 2025.

ReDi Grants are designed to support projects that benefit the community and serve the public good. These grants empower residents to have input into local decision-making, ensuring that funded initiatives align with the needs and priorities of the community.

The program is open to:
• Registered non-profit organizations
• First Nations
• Registered schools
• Local governments

Projects must address community and public needs rather than private interests, fostering initiatives that strengthen the social, environmental, or cultural fabric of the region.
