Scott Anderson is the Ghostriders nominee for the KIJHL Player of the Month
The Fernie Ghostriders Player of the Month for October is #6 Scott Anderson. Scott is in his 5th season with the Riders as he was apart of both the 2007 and 2008 KIJHL championship teams. During the month of October Scott recorded 6 assists in 9 games and currently sits 2nd in scoring for all KIJHL dmen with 18 points. Scott is matched against the oppositions top line each and every game.
Tuseday’s Opponent
The Ghostriders play the Golden Rockets tonight for only the third time this season. The first game was in Golden where the Rockets won 2-1 the second game was in Fernie where the Riders won 4-1. Golden has slipped a bit since the last time they were here when they were in first place, they are now in second four points behind the Ghostriders and with out their top scorer Spencer Pommells who moved up to Jr. “A”. The Rockets won their last game at home over the Dynamiters by a 5-4 score. Last weekend the Riders won both of their games, 9-1 against
Spokane and 12 -5 against the Columbia Valley Rockies
