Located in the picturesque Elk Valley, the Fernie Golf Club is set against a stunning backdrop of the rugged Kootenay Rockies. The course is renowned for its meticulously maintained greens, challenging layout, and breathtaking views, offering a perfect blend of scenic beauty and strategic play.
“Every year, we strive to enhance our club’s experience, and this year is no exception,” said Max Sherwood, General Manager and Head Pro. “We have made significant improvements to the course and facilities, and we are excited to share this with all our golfers.”
The club has announced several upgrades for this season, including renovated bunkers, improved cart paths, and expanded tee boxes, which aim to improve the playability and aesthetic appeal of the course.
The Fernie Golf Club has also launched a series of golf clinics and workshops aimed at golfers of all skill levels. These clinics are led by PGA professionals and are designed to help players improve their game while enjoying the natural beauty of the course.
