Fernie Home Builders was named as best single family detached home in the category between $1 to $1.5 million at the Central Interior Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA) Awards in Kamloops.

“I was honoured to win best in class by the Canadian Home Builders Association of the Central Interior for the Elkhorn Cabin at Fernie Alpine Resort,” said Mike Delich, owner of Fernie Home Builders.

Mike Delich is a long time Fernie resident who saw the potential for resort living in 1989 then pioneered the first Timberline Lodge. His developments have continued with Juniper Lodge, Snow Creek Cabins, Polar Peak Lodges, Fernie Golf Estates, and Bear Paw Lodges.

Strong architectural design, detailed site planning, hand crafted interiors and emphasis on landscape perennials and shrubs in harmony with the mountain settings are the signature of Fernie Home Builders.
