La Cafamore includes Carolyn Cameron (violin), sister Angela Snyder (viola) and Hendrik Mendes (piano – no relation) to perform classical piano trios written by siblings Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn and Philipp and Xaver Scharwenka.

About La Cafamore:
La Cafamore has been performing in the Kootenays since 2008, bringing classical music to the area, including new music and collaborations with local artists and Canadian composers. Originally birthed as a string quartet made up of members of Symphony of the Kootenays, La Cafamore is now a fluid ensemble of varying instrumentations.

Group manager Carolyn Cameron was raised in Saskatoon where she studied violin and piano. She has been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, The Regina Symphony Orchestra and the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Carolyn lives in Rossland.
