An informal community gathering with snacks and beverages will be hosted by the Diverse Family Roots Society, offering a chance to connect, share ideas, and enjoy time together.
Diverse Family Roots Society is the only grassroots, parent/family-driven support network for families with children or family members with diverse abilities/disabilities that is based in the Kootenays.
Meet their Kootenays Based Stewards who will be Facilitating connection to families, connection to resources and connection to the community in which they live. They will be Sharing lived experience, advocating where they are able, meeting families where they are at, Mentoring, supporting, listening, sharing.
