Fernie Alpine Resort is excited to kick off the 2025/26 winter season on Saturday, December 6th!

To start, terrain will be limited. At this time, they can confirm the Elk Chair will be spinning with access to Lizard Run. Additional terrain is so close to being ready, but we need a few more centimetres of snow before we can safely expand.

With snowfall in the forecast, now’s the moment to bring out your best snow dances. We expect to have more details about opening day on Thursday, so stay tuned.
